Looking for Snow

During our second Snow-Day in Houston (where snowdays are a rarity!), Andy didn't find snow, only cold.  He's ready to go back inside to the warmth, out of the cold rain with bits of sleet ...

He looks a bit miserable, doesn't he?

Those are little bits of sleet in the puddles on the edge of the back step.  But what's even cuter is the surprise discovery of one of his "hidden" treats!  When did Andy "bury" his bone on the back kitchen step?

Attending CAJE 3 with a group from Helfman.... in one of my last sessions, we were directed to take something from their table (lots of objects from nature) and draw it, write about it, focus on it....

I chose this little acorn with a pinecone bursting out of it ... now to find the poem I wrote to add here ...
