Lake Louise in Alberta

Can you see the glacier creeping in under the clouds over the frozen Lake Louise, in Alberta province of Canada?

Here is another view of the lake, or rather of a stream feeding into the lake.

But this is my favorite view -- capturing another photographer enjoying the same view.

I promise, I did not just follow Mary around taking the same photos she took.

See, here's Annette at the same bridge, snapping the boys with the familiar view of Lake Louise and the glacier.

Going after the best shot

What is it that Sue-Ellen has spied?

Mary is following her. Could it be they both see something special?

Maybe it is this bridge over a frozen stream?

I see the moon and the moon sees me ... but my friends see something entirely different. Whatever it is -- I am sure this will be the Best Photograph they took on this cold day in Alberta, Canada.

Why else would anyone kneel in that cold snow?

Thanksgiving

I am thankful for my family, my friends, and all who add sparkle to my life.
I am thankful for good health, good food and the good future ahead...

I am thankful for so much more .... aren't you too?

My favorite two readers -- they've grown a bit since this photo was taken.

Begonias

Begonias remind me of my Father-in-Law, my dear Papa Herb, as he always had more than one pot filled with blooming begonias. My Grandpa Myers loved gardening too, especially growing lovely flowers such as rex begonias.
